Through my school's newspaper, The Herd, I've gained valuable experience in both promoting digital journalism on a website and on social media platforms. I've contributed to publishing and updating content, peer editing articles with my team members, and helping to increase readership through social media promotion. As my role in The Herd shifted from Social Media Chair to Editor in Chief, I've learned to delegate tasks, as well as guiding my co-members through examples and actions. Through my dedication to this newspaper, I've truly strengthened my understanding on how digital platforms work together.

The Herd - Instagram & Social Media
For two years during my time on The Herd, I was the Assistant Social Media Manager and ran the Instagram page. As current Editor in Chief, I oversee all parts of creating a paper, including digital promotion. This paper has not only ventured across my school district, but has been nationally recognized at the Al Nueharth Free Spirit Journalism Conference.
